UniWorld Group promotes J.P. James to director of strategic
planning (April

UniWorld
Group has announced the promotion of J.P. James to the position of
Director, Strategic Planning. James had been and an account planner with
the New York-based agency working with numerous clients including Home
Depot, Colgate, 3 Musketeers and Time Warner Cable.
James is known for his strong background in integrated marketing
communications. He has written and spoken extensively on the areas of
research, consumer insights and market trends, particularly in the field
of multicultural marketing. In his new role help UWG create industry buzz and new
business interest.
Prior to joining UniWorld, James was a Senior Account Executive with
Burrell, a Chicago marketing communications agency that specializes in the
African-American consumer market. Jean-Paul managed the African-American
Communications Campaign for Toyota Motor Sales.
Prior to Burrell, James worked for six years in account management at
general market advertising agencies including Bozell Worldwide and Young &
Rubicam. While working in the general market, he worked with clients such
as Ford Motor Company and Taylor Made Golf.
James holds a bachelor's degree in marketing/advertising from California
State Polytechnic University, Pomona. In 2005, he received a master's
degree in integrated marketing communications from Northwestern
