Black TV Ratings for Week of March 5 - 11
NBC
makes some gains with black viewers, but CBS still the favorite network
(March
14, 2012) Last week NBC was represented on the Top 25 TV chart by just
two shows. This week it has gained favor with black audiences for two
more. "Grimm" and "Who Do You Think You Are" this week make the grade
for the first time.
For the second week of March CBS was the most watched TV network with
15.5 million black viewers watching 15 shows. Fox claimed only 5.8
million for four of its programs. NBC was a distant third with 4.2
million also for four shows.
The total number of viewers for the most popular shows in black
households, according to Nelsen, was 27.3 million or eight percent fewer
than the previous week.
