Black Cable TV Ratings for Week of Feb. 27 - Mar. 4
BET
gains traction with 'The Game' and takes No.1 on Top 25 cable chart
(March
7, 2012) The back-to-back airing of "The Game" and "Let's Stay Together"
earned BET the No. 1 and 2 spots on the Top 25 chart of most popular
cable shows in black homes. At 2.3 million viewers for "The Game," it
did twice as well the first week of March than the week before.
BET was the most watched cable network for the week with 6.2 million
viewers for four of its Top 25 shows. VH1 took second with 5.3 million
also for four shows. TBS claimed 3.3 million for three of its programs.
According to Nielsen, the total number of viewers watching the Top 25
for the first week of March was down nine percent from the previous week
to 29 million.
