Black TV Ratings for Week of Feb. 27 - Mar. 4
CBS grows its dominance over the Top 25 shows in black households

(March 6, 2012) "American Idol" may have taken three out of the top four positions of the most popular shows with black audiences, but CBS is the network that's getting the majority of their attention.

CBS was the most watched station for the first week of March. It increased its share of Top 25 audience from 15 million and 13 shows last week to 18.2 million and 16 shows. Fox was a distant second with 4.9 million over three shows. ABC claimed 4.1 million for four shows.

The total number of viewers of was down, according to Nielsen, by six percent to 29.9 million.
