Charisse Browner named
Vice President of Lagrant Communications (February
28, 2007) – Kim Hunter, president of Lagrant Communications, has announced
that Charisse Browner has been appointed Vice President/Group Account
Director of the Los Angeles based firm.
In her new position Browner will serve as the lead contact for the
Harley-Davidson account and manage a team of three. Additionally she will
have responsibility for the coordination of account teams for Southern
California Edison, California Wellness Foundation, Deloitte, Talbert
Medical Group, City of Los Angeles- Department of Public Works and the
League of Black Women.
Prior to joining the firm, Browner was public affairs director for KPWR
106 FM for more than eight years and president/executive director for
eleven years for the station’s nonprofit fund, Knowledge Is Power. She
also served as a host and producer of KPWR’s top-ranked live community
broadcast, the Knowledge Is Power show. Browner managed the station
advertising clients’ community outreach needs.
Browner attended UCLA Extension with a concentration in entertainment
contracts and law.
