Walton Isaacson execs Vida Cornelious, Kirsten Atkinson and Ayiko Broyard to be honored

(February 18, 2016) Three Walton Isaacson executives have been named Top Women Executives in Advertising and Marketing by Black Enterprise magazine. Vida Cornelious, EVP and Chief Creative Officer (pictured), Ayiko Broyard, VP Group Account Director, and  Kirsten Atkinson, VP of Media and Brand Integration have been selected to join the prestigious listing of leading women in marketing and advertising

Cornelious, who has been named to the list in prior years, is a highly awarded creative talent whose work has been recognized at major shows around the world including the prestigious Cannes International Festival of Creativity. Notable creative achievements also include two highly-acclaimed Super Bowl spots featuring Oprah Winfrey and Bob Dylan. Each spot earned top ranking in the USAToday Ad Meter poll and over 15 million YouTube views. Over the course of her 20 plus year career, she has delivered brand-building campaigns for such  brands as McDonald's, Budweiser, Lexus and Spalding. Ms. Cornelious received the 2013 MAAX Awards as Advertising Executive of the Year, and was named one of Ad Age's "40 Women to Watch." Her thought-leadership have made her a featured lecturer, panelist, and international award show juror.

Broyard serves as the lead on WI's Lexus account, which handles the Black, Hispanic and LGBT marketing for the brand and she also is a top entertainment producer in advertising and marketing. She is one of the team at Walton Isaacson who has spearheaded such ground breaking work as the NAACP Image Award nominated television series Verses & Flow, as well as the Inside Out web series for Lexus, which was recently recognized by Advertising Age as one of the 10 Best Ads directed at and in support of the LGBT community. She was at the helm for McDonald's first televised broadcast of the 365Black Awards in 2013 and in 2014 and 2015 once again executive produced the awards that aired on BET.

Atkinson, who has expertise across traditional media channels and emerging media, leads new Social platforms, Interactive TV, Branded Entertainment, Addressable TV, Experiential and Digital, for her clients. She has launched multiple award-winning campaigns and first-to-market partnerships for Lexus such as Design Disrupted, an innovative fashion experience, Facebook 1000 Ads, a highly customized social campaign and the first-ever Jimmy Fallon Live commercial. She has an impressive record of producing deeply integrated programs that lead the industry and deliver on the client business needs. She is a 2015 Facebook Creative Award recipient, a 2014 Ad Age Media Maven, co-founder of ADCOLOR in LA, board member of ThinkLA's MAT program and recipient of AdWeek's 2012 "Media Plan of the Year" award.
