EPMG United reaches 1.4 million unique visitors monthly according to comScore

(January 31, 2014) EPMG United, digital alliance of black newspaper publishers in the U.S., reports it has grown to 1.4 million unique visitors according to the latest comScore figures released for November 2013.  Google Analytics reports even higher usage with over 4 million unique visitors.

EPMG (www.epmg360.com), a leading multicultural media planning and placement company launched EPMG United in July 2013. EPMG United features the strongest black publishers in the nation, including The Washington Informer, The Amsterdam News, The Atlanta Voice, and The Houston Defender.

"EPMG's investment in our online digital properties has grown our audience and expanded our reach -- it has been a game changer," said Ron Burke, director of advertising and marketing, The Washington (D.C.) Informer. "EPMG has proved to be a great partner and team leader in the print and digital playing fields."

According to comScore, a global leader in digital measurement and analytics, EPMG United, the digital alliance of black newspaper publishers in the U.S., charted an impressive gain of 541% from September to November 2013. The digital alliance accomplished another noteworthy milestone; it currently ranks among some of the top websites visited by African-Americans, such as Huffington Post Black Voices, The Root, BET, and Newsone. Further strengthening its position, more than 60% of EPMG United's visitors have a household income greater than $75,000, demonstrating the affluence and influence of its audience.

"The African-American community has strong cultural ties and is very active online," said Ginger Neal, president and chief of strategy, LionHeart Digital. "EPMG United's impressive comScore reporting is a validation of the cultural connection and impact of black newspapers to their community."
