MediaVest USA to host Madison Avenue Minority Radio Summit next month

(January 24, 2016) Brian Terkelsen, CEO of MediaVest USA, one of the nation's largest media buying agencies, has announced the company will host a historic Madison Avenue Minority Radio Summit at the New York Times Building in New York on February 26th.

The Summit will bring together media agency executives, media planners and media buyers with African American, Hispanic and Asian radio owners and executives. The majority of the day will be conducted in "speed dating" sessions that will enable station and agency execs to introduce themselves to each other.

Sherman Kizart, Managing Director of Kizart Media Partners, has been working with Terkelsen and other global media agency CEOs and senior executives in creating the event. The Madison Avenue Minority Radio Summit is a historic networking opportunity that will foster a dialog between the media agency minority radio communities said  Kizart.

Starcom Mediavest Group, Optimedia and OMD are among the participating agencies. The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters (NABOB) is working with the Summit principals to ensure that smaller stations will be represented, even if they are unable to come to New York. "We urge all NABOB member stations to consider coming to New York for this unprecedented opportunity to present your station to the New York advertising agencies," said Jim Winston, President of NABOB.

Attendees must be pre-registered, and can do so by visiting https://mediaradiopartnership.splashthat.com/ or contacting NABOB at 202-463-8970.
