Cable TV Ratings for Week of Jan. 14 - 20
TBS rides 'Payne' to hold on to top 25 for the week; Disney top network

(January 24, 2008) TBS once again used back-to-back airings of "House of Payne" to capture first, second, third and fourth place on the top 25 list of most popular shows among black viewers. The strategy gave the network nearly 7.5 million viewers.

Disney was the week's top network with six programs on the top 25. TBS and TNT tied for second with four each. USA network posted three shows.

The total number of black viewers watching the top 25 shows, according to Nielsen Media Research, during the third week of January was 23.5 million, virtually the same as the previous week.
