Lagrant Communications names Lee Hayes Senior Vice President

(January 15, 2013) Lagrant Communications, an award-winning, integrated multicultural marketing communications firm with offices in Los Angeles, Dallas and New York, recently named Lee Hayes to the newly created role of senior vice president and chief client officer.In Hayes' new role, he will be responsible for providing strategic direction and overseeing quality control of all agency accounts. In addition, he will assist with new business development and the mentoring of staff.

With more than 17 years of experience in the communications industry, Hayes has been with Lagrant Communications since December 2007 leading the firm's Dallas office as vice president and managing director, while serving as the day-to-day lead on the Harley-Davidson and Bahamas Ministry of Tourism accounts. Prior to joining Lagrant Communications, Hayes served as an independent communications consultant for various corporate, government and not-for-profit organizations, as well as chief of communications & pubic affairs of Minneapolis Public Schools.

Hayes is a board member of the National Black Public Relations Society, as well as an active member of Public Relations Society of America and the National Association of Black Journalists. In 2013-2014, Hayes will participate in the Arthur W. Page Society's Future Leaders program, a two-year learning experience designed to prepare high-potential communications executives for one of the most challenging corporate positions -- that of the chief communications officer.
